Bio

Board-certified and fellowship-trained in pediatric urology, Dr. Gomez is one of the few pediatric urologists in the country specialized in robotic surgery. With this invaluable expertise, he serves as the medical director of the pediatric urology robotics program at Florida Hospital for Children. Driven to propel the field of pediatric urology, Dr. Gomez has a tremendous amount of research experience, from functional tissue engineering to stem cell research. He is also an active volunteer in mission outreach projects, having provided vaccinations in Colombia to people in isolated areas without access to health care, as well as assisting Down’s syndrome children to train for the Special Olympics. As a widely-published author and recipient of multiple awards, Dr. Gomez is highly respected by colleagues as an expert in the medical field.
